Subject: Good slapstick
Funny film. Those were two well trained dogs. The film itself seems to have been tinted pink, unless it was some other color which has since faded. The story line might have been developed further, with the bad dog redeeming itself by rescuing the man in the water. But it was just a minor project, to be shown between other reels. I'll give it a 3 for mainly historical interest.

Enjoyably silly short featuring a family and their obvious trouble with a pair of dogs. One of them is so much trouble they try to get rid of it, with Wyle E. Coyote levels of success. I found myself laughing at a bunch of places, so it did it's job. :)

Subject: Chuckle comedy
Nobody will mistake for being a classic.

However, it is kinda fun to watch a "average" silent comedy short.

There are some good laughs in this film.

At 8 minutes this is possibly an edited re-issue print.
